Overview
M&D Care delivers specialist, complex and bespoke Residential and Domiciliary care services throughout South West Wales for people with Learning Disability, Physical Disability and Mental Health. As a family led organisation, they put the person at the centre of their care and aim to put the focus on individual independence and quality of life.
M&D Care approached Celo in late 2020 with one clear mandate - to stop the use of WhatsApp among the care providers in their organisation. They had concerns about the compliance of using consumer applications for sharing highly-sensitive personal information and were looking for an alternative that they could trust. They also knew that for this initiative to be successful, they had to give their team of 400 staff an alternative that they wanted to use. Adoption was a real priority.

We used our three step rollout programme - communicate, onboard and invite - to get Celo in the hands of the M&D team in a matter of minutes. Once it had been rolled out we then worked with the M&D leadership team to monitor the uptake and provide any necessary support. We were amazed at the results.
